1. (Common Noun) Seeds of any plant or species of the genus Papaver, herbs with showy polypetalous flowers and a milky juice. From one species (Papaver somniferum) opium is obtained, though all the species contain it to some extent; also, a flower of the plant. ধুনীয়া ফুল ফুলা আৰু বগা ৰসযুক্ত এবিধ বনগছৰ গুটি। ইয়াৰে এক প্ৰজাতিৰ গুটিৰ পৰা কানি তৈয়াৰ কৰা হয়।
