1. Place(Proper Noun-Neuter) Darrang is an administrative district in the state of Assam in India. The district headquarters are located at Mangaldoi. The district occupies an area of 3481 km². ব্ৰহ্মপুত্ৰৰ উত্তৰ পাৰে মধ্য অসমৰ এখন জিলা। পুৰণি সাহিত্যত দৰংগ(দৰঙ্গ) আৰু দৌৰংগ(দৌৰংগ) বুলিও উল্লেখ আছে।
