1. (Proper Noun) The Padma Bhushan award is an Indian civilian decoration established on January 2, 1954 by the President of India. It stands third in the hierarchy of civilian awards. This service includes the Arts, Education, Industry, Literature, Science, Sports, Social Service and public life. পদ্ম সন্মানসমূহৰ ভিতৰত এই সন্মান দ্বিতীয় ৷ ১৯৫৪ চনৰ পৰা এই সন্মান প্ৰদান কৰি অহা হৈছে ৷ কোনো এক অনুষ্ঠানত ভাৰতৰ ৰাষ্ট্ৰপতিয়ে ইয়াক প্ৰদান কৰে ৷ সাহিত্য, সংস্কৃতি, বিজ্ঞান, ক্ৰীড়া, মানৱ সেৱা আদি বিভিন্ন দিশত খ্যাতি অৰ্জন কৰা লোকক এই বঁটা প্ৰদান কৰা হয় ৷
