(Proper Noun) Padma Shri is an award given by the Government of India generally to Indian citizens to recognize their distinguished contribution in various spheres of activity including the Arts, Education, Industry, Literature, Science, Sports, Social Service and public life. পদ্ম সন্মানসমূহৰ ভিতৰত এই সন্মান তৃতীয় ৷ ১৯৫৪ চনৰ পৰা এই সন্মান প্ৰদান কৰি অহা হৈছে ৷ কোনো এক অনুষ্ঠানত ভাৰতৰ ৰাষ্ট্ৰপতিয়ে ইয়াক প্ৰদান কৰে ৷ সাহিত্য, সংস্কৃতি, বিজ্ঞান, ক্ৰীড়া, মানৱ সেৱা আদি বিভিন্ন দিশত খ্যাতি অৰ্জন কৰা লোকক এই বঁটা প্ৰদান কৰা হয় ৷
