1. (Abstract Noun) (in some languages) a letter of the size and form that is used in the beginning of a sentence,proper noun etc. and is bigger than and sometimes different form the small letter. e.g. in English A,B,C,D rather than a,b,c,d. কোনো কোনো ভাষাত বাক্যৰ প্ৰথম আখৰটো বা নাম লিখিবলৈ ব্যৱহাৰ হোৱা আৰু আন আখৰতকৈ ডাঙৰকৈ লিখা আৰু কেতিয়াবা ৰূপৰ পাৰ্থক্য থকা আখৰ৷ যেনে, ইংৰাজীৰ A,B,C,D(বৰফলা)আৰু a,b,c,d(সৰুফলা)।
