1. River(Proper Noun-Feminine) name of a river; In Hindu Mythology, Yamuna is the sister of Yama, God of Death and daughter of the Sun God. A large tributary of Ganges. On the other hand Brahmaputra inside Bangadesh takes it name Yamuna. এখন নদীৰ নাম; হিন্দু শাস্ত্র মতে যমুনা হ’ল মৃত্যুলোকৰ দেৱতা যমৰ ভগ্নী আৰু সুৰ্য্যদেৱৰ জীয়ৰী। গংগাৰ এখন ডাঙৰ উপনৈ। আনহাতে বহ্মপুত্ৰইও বাংলাদেশত যমুনা নাম লৈছে।
