1. (Common Noun-Common) a man or a group of people who works in other`s house without being paid for. (In village areas, neighbours in a group help the villagers to finish their harvesting on a single day. They do it for everyone one after another. The person in whose field the people work for the day, usually arranges a small feast (ভোজ). It is a matter of social integrity and unity of Assamese society and culture. It reflects the helping attitude of Assamese people towards each-other.) আনৰ ঘৰত বিনা-পাৰিশ্ৰমিকে কাম কৰি দিয়া ব্যক্তি বা দল ৷
